A Christmas Carol is the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, an elderly greedy man, lacking in empathy. He is visited by three ghosts on Christmas Eve to deliver him three very important messages. First published in 1843 the story has become a definitive morality tale associated with the holiday around the world.
