Quick Episode Notes
Helpline phone numbers in France, which include 15, to call the ambulance service (the SAMU), 17 to call the police and 18 to call the fire brigade (pompiers). If remembering all this is tricky, you can also call 112, the general pan-European emergency number, who’s operators also speak English!
For help with for non-urgent illnesses and injuries, you can go to your local pharmacy, book a doctor on the Doctolib platform, or call SOS Médecins at 3624.
If you are in Paris and you need an English-speaking hospital, you can go to private hospitals such as the American Hospital in Neuilly, or the Franco-British Hospital in Levallois.
